Most private universities in California, as well as many out-of-state private and public institutions, utilize the Common App platform (short for Common Application) to simplify the college admissions process. This system allows students to submit a single primary application to multiple participating schools. More than 1,000 colleges and universities in the U.S. and internationally accept the Common App.

Students are encouraged to contact the admissions representatives directly at their prospective private and/or out-of-state campuses by clicking Admissions Contact Info. to discuss their transfer goals and major-specific questions. We also recommend that students meet with an EVC Counselor for additional transfer guidance.
